Uppsala 76a, no. 26, ff. 23v-24 »Helas madame« 3v (unicum)

Entered by Hand B. A setting of a popular tune; text incipit in the upper voice only. The setting is clearly vocal in concept as it exhibits an abundance of note repetitions demanding a text in all three voices. The four lines of text "Helas madame ... demeynent" from the second section of no. 42 »Dame venez moy secourir« fits the music perfectly, if the last line is repeated.
